Q: When we get to heaven can we ask God questions? Can we bring something with us to heaven?

Sounds like you are very excited to get to heaven. If you are then you’re like me because I’m sure that it will be fabulous; especially since Jesus said in John 14:3 that He is preparing a place for us there.

The Bible tells us in Revelation 22:3, 4 that when we get to Heaven God will be there and we will see His face. In heaven sin will be all gone so there won’t be anything to separate us from God which means that we will be able to talk to Him and ask Him any questions that we may have. I think that I will have a lot, but forever is a really long time.

The Bible also tells us in 2 Peter 3:10 that when Jesus returns that earth and the works therein will be consumed in flames. That’s because everything in the world has been tainted by sin. The only things going to heaven with Jesus won’t be things but People. 1 Corinthians 15:52-54 tells us that when Jesus returns we will be changed and made perfect like Jesus (1 John 3:2). That means we won’t be taking anything else with us but we won’t miss it because heaven will be so phenomenal.
