A:Dear Arron,

U.F.O. is an “unidentified flying object.” That means it’s something that nobody is quite sure what it is. A shooting star could be a UFO, in which case, Yes, God did make it.

However, most people associate UFOs with some kind of spaceship. The Bible gives us no reason to believe that heavenly creatures need UFOs to get around. Angels have wings (Exodus 25:20; Revelation 4:8), and can “fly swiftly” (see Daniel 9:21). I personally believe that there are flying objects that people have seen that they may have thought were spaceships, but they were really something else. I also believe that the devil can cause people to see things. The Bible tells us that the devil himself can transform himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). I think the devil tricks people into thinking there are aliens from outer space to distract them from the truth about Jesus coming from “outer space” to this earth to die on the cross for their sins so they can live. We can’t always trust what we see, because our eyes can deceive us. We can always trust the Bible.
