Thanks for your question. The answer is that God was not created. The Bible tells us that He created everything else. “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable” (Isaiah 40:28). More than this, God says that His power to create is what makes Him worthy of our worship. “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created” (Revelation 4:11). I know it is hard for us to understand, but God has always existed. He made us and everything else. He loves us as only our Maker can. That’s what makes Him God, and that’s why we worship Him.
