Q: I want to know why the bible says all the RIGHT thing's we do are like filthy rags and then in ephesians 6:1 it says children Obey your parents in the lord for this is RIGHT?

A: Dear Jenea, I don't think you're reading that text correctly Jenae. It says all "our" righteousness is as filthy rags. Since only Jesus is righteous, any attempts at righteousness by us, in our own strength, apart from Jesus, makes those attempts "filthy rags." Now, since Jesus tells us, through Paul, in Ephesians, to obey our parents, and since Jesus is righteous, doing what He tells us must be right!
